Pet Parent: Carol Swartzlander Pet: Guy Age: 16 years old Breed: Lab What makes your pet's tail wag? He was scheduled for euthanasia on Dec 9 2010. He is at least 16 and full of 'lab-type tumors' and Animal Control knew there was no hope for him. However, my heart is with the seniors and something told me he wasn't ready for the needle. (one year later) He celebrated his year anniversary on the couch (where he can usually be found)..what a guy! Meet Jester

Jester was stricken with a large cancerous mass behind his left eye, which cause his eye to be removed in August. He was the most social of guys and always wanted to please people and make them smile. So he started up with a pirate theme, hence his halloween costume. My favorite Pirate Jester. This picture was taken at a dog picnic a few days before he lost his battle. Gone but never forgotten.

He came from a dog hoarder and was rescued by an organization who set him up in a foster home. He is so happy to have a place he can now call home! He loves running around outside, and chasing squirrels. He also loves doing his daily laps around the couch. He's one active pup, who also loves to snuggle into you. This year, he is looking forward to his first Halloween ...
