Roxie the Doxie

Meet Roxie the Doxie. She is a beautiful senior lady who is only 9 years “young.”  Roxie came to the St. Louis Senior Dog Project on Christmas Eve from a St. Louis area  animal control shelter where she was originally found as a stray. She is sooo sweet and affectionate, and she is still very spry and chipper. On the day she arrived at her foster home, she spent hours and hours trying out the many dog beds throughout the house. She finally found the softest dog bed and has claimed it as her own! Roxie would do best in a quieter home with no small children, and a home with few stairs. She is crate trained and walks well on a leash. Roxie is current on all of her immunizations, she is heartworm negative, she is spayed and microchipped, and she has had her teeth cleaned.
