DJ: Special Contest Winner

Congratulations to Carol from California, you and your pet, D.J., won a FURminator!   D.J. is certainly well deserving of her new gift, check out the email aarff.com received:

I met DJ at the local animal shelter 18 months ago…she had just lost her owner.

As a matter of fact, she was in the car with him when he died. Ironically, I had just lost my partner of 21 years and had a void in my life that I thought could be helped with a new dog.
When I walked into the shelter, DJ was cowered in the back of the kennel, scared and confused. I was told she probably was an unadoptable pet because she was so timid and even growledsome at shelter staff.
Don’t know what it was…but something was very special about this dog. I adopted her..brought her into my house and she acted like she had lived here all of her six years. I couldn’t ask for a better dog, pet, friend.
We both needed something, or maybe someone…and, I think we found what we were looking for!
