Meet Dr. Aarff
Meet Dr. Stacey Wallach, better known here as “Dr. Aarff”! Dr. Wallach is owner of Town & Country Veterinary Hospital, which she opened in January 2010. Dr. Stacey Wallach grew up in Albany, NY. She has had a lifetime love of animals and is glad to be able to help care for pets and strengthen the lifelong
relationship our clients have with their pets.
Dr. Wallach attended the Pennsylvania State University and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Bioscience in 1999. She continued her veterinary education at the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Wallach was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2003 and graduated magna cum laude.
Soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, veterinary dentistry, and internal medicine are among her many professional interests. She belongs to numerous veterinary professional groups, including the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association and the St. Louis Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Wallach volunteers with numerous local pet rescue organizations. She also is the recipient of the Proficiency in Emergency and Critical Care Award.
Dr. Wallach has been featured on KMOV’s Great Day St. Louis, and is a regular veterinarian contributor on KSDK’s Today in St. Louis Sunday mornings.
Dr. Wallach’s animal companions include two French Bulldogs, Stuey and Jeb, a mixed-breed named Kiya, and a cat named Rufus. Stuey has passed level six for a support dog organization. Horseback riding and competitive sports are among Dr. Wallach’s many hobbies.
Dr. Wallach especially enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and their children, Gabriel and Vivian. Their family is expecting another bundle of joy in September, 2012!
