He put up a good fight, but Gibson known as the World’s Tallest dog, has died of cancer. Aarff.com interviewed Gibson’s owner and companion, Sandy Hall of Grass Valley, California, just a few weeks ago (July 24th) about Gibson’s cancer diagnosis and his heoric fight.
In April, Gibson was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a form of canine bone cancer. His right front leg had to be amputated to prevent the cancer from spreading. After weeks of chemotherapy, Sandy learned last week the cancer had spread to his lungs and spine.
I had the extreme pleasure of meeting the 7 year old gentle giant and therapy dog. He will be truly missed.
Here at Aarff.com our thoughts and prayers go out to Sandy.
